The 2013 Tokyo Motor Show is being held at Tokyo Big Site. This year eco-friendly cars are particularly popular with all major manufactures showing off their latest hybrid vehicles.

The show runs from Nov 23 to Dec 1.

Check out all the action in the video below.

"eco-friendly" and "fun" can not be used together. Maybe in 10 years. Very few eco-friendly motorcycle and cars on sale today. most eco-friendly are BORING BORING or cost WAY too much for the average person to drive.

That girl is something else.

German cars rock, they seem to have Driving fun and Greenness combined in one package with the new semi-electric drives.good luck Japan for building Shoeboxes and flying cabinets on wheels!

Does anyone actually go to these shows to see the cars? I went to one once, and it was most certainly to look at the women.

"Daihatsu may not be a common name in America..."

says our genial host, no doubt assuming that only Americans watch the video... apart from that faux pas I thought it was great fun, and yes, that girl in the black next to the red whateveritis is very pretty.

Beamers and Porsches are a bit dull these days - they seem to rather stuck as far as design goes, especially Porsche. Where are all of the exotics? Concept cars seem rather boring - safe and with the emphasis on practicality. Come on... show us some outlandish cars... with maglev technology or with swappable driving positions...

Loving the truck with the swipe lock... smartphone tech on a vehicle. Nice ^_^

Keep an eye on the GaijinPot YouTube channel for a special video featuring the women of the car show!

70% for the girls and 30% for the cars...

Some of this year's cars are so awesome, they might actually compete with the models for at least some of the attention.

I went on the Thursday for my blog. I got a few pics of the cars, but let's be honest ... not many people want to see them. Everyone likes to see the girls and they are what I shot a lot of. The model's outfits though at the Motor Show are quite conservative, so it's the Auto Salon that you need to go to.

How come no HANDSOME MEN in tight-fitting skinny pants are ever featured? Bunch a phobes!

I'll be there next week! Not to look at men in tight-fitting skinny pants for sure!

I'm going tomorrow! Super excited! Hopefully my girlfriend doesn't catch me rubbernecking...

Would love to get my hands on that. The car, too.

Mini was the only booth to have an equal number of guys modelling. I prefer looking at the girls, but I have to admit that it was refreshing to see men up there with the women.

I hate to see models with motor vehicles, especially motorbikes. Take them away and let me see the real beauty on show.

Motorheads can drive both!

Bikers like to have a ride for the day and one for the night. ,)

Still I don't go to a motor show because of the girls which obstruct the view.

This was an awesome show! I went on Sunday, and saw soooo many cool cars! The only problem? WAY CROWDED. Go as early as you can in the morning! When I first got there, it was awesome, but by 1:00 it was impossible to see or take pictures of anything. Make sure you catch the Nismo GTR and the NSX concept! Also, the Daihatsu stage can't be missed (nN, seriously. Yes, I know. Just check it out.).
