Stay away from the Tchaikovsky, or it'll end up overschmaltzed. Natto? Any requiem will do.

  • Farmboy at 04:19 PM JST - 6th October

Bach is classical music. Singing in the Rain is classic music.

Kjunlic2, I wonder how the miso would do listening to Hank Williams....

you are having a laugh right?? This sounds like an article from "The Onion"

Actually, this idea is starting to "grow" on me. I wonder if they could package the natto with the name of the composer that was played as it was maturing... We could taste test the "Shostakovitch Natto" and see how it compares with the "Vivaldi Natto."

Yeah, well, with all the new-fangled natto making techniques these days, these folks just wanted to get Bach to basics.

They should have used enka. I bet this natto has a foreign smell.

To avoid gaijin influence Murata Hideo and Hibari Misora would bring out some great flavor. Perchance Mozart is what makes snatto snotto.

I predict this company will go baroque before long.

  • Farmboy at 06:21 PM JST - 7th October

I hadn't previously heard about this company. I wonder where it has been Haydn.

  • serindipity at 10:56 AM JST - 8th October

It's quite fitting to see classical music and natto sharing a common bond because they both stink!

  • nikoniko at 05:15 PM JST - 8th October

Not to be a stickler, but there's a HUGE difference between 'classic' music and 'classical'. What they are talking about here, as I suspected they would be, is 'classical' music; Bach, Brahms, Strauss Jr., Mozart, etc. 'Classic' music would have the natto fermenting to the tunes of the Beatles (depressed Natto), Presley (hillbilly natto), Led Zepplin, etc. It's a shame the writer of the article couldn't get it correct.
