In the end all human beings die and explaining death to a child is never an easy task. How much a child understands about death depends on their age, life experiences and personality. Some things to keep in mind is to be open, honest, direct, patient, listen, ask questions and allow the child to work through his or her grief as much as possible. All human beings know that they must die and it's important that we should understand our departure. It's a subject that we should study more than any other for the world is ignorant in reference to their true condition and relation. If we have any claim on our divine source or higher power for anything, it is for this knowledge on this important subject.
