Never really thought about this before. Now that i think about it, I find it surprising too that there are almost no Indian models out there considering there are so many beautiful women in India. Let's hope to see more in the future.

The same can be said about the industry here. Most of the foreign models hired in the Japanese fashion scene are almost always blond-haired and blue eyed. The argument is the same I suppose, that models from India and other cultures are too curvaceous to wear the average haute couture designers' clothes. I for one am looking forward to the day when I'll see a more realistic representation of all shapes colors and sizes on the runway and in fashion magazines. Why should one have to purchase Indian Vogue or Japanese Elle, or Essence, etc. to see models from their own culture? It's a big beautiful colorful world people!!!

I am a big fan of India People and culture hope the model get things together for the country of india because on one will help the improve the life of the family.

When I see the death white,pale, gross heroine addict type Milan collection or Paris, me as a Mexican do not know if we are supposed to laugh or cry. What white folk in NYC etc..think is beautiful, for me all those skin and bones just look sick, I would take a nice, curvy Indian woman, some nice love handles any day over some skinny ass, pale as death freak from Vougue Magazine any day, except one thing about many Indian women, these noses being pierced with gold, diamonds etc..that just is not my cup of tea, back on the ranch in old Mexico we do have these nose rings, but on BULLS, you need to control animals, so we put nice metal rings through the BULL'S nose and walk it around, let it know who is the boss, hmmm...maybe Indian babes want to be shown who is the boss???

Amigo you make me laugh every time :) Mexican and Latin woman are very beautiful to, well you know that already.

I'm half Indian myself and those nose rings you're referring to, in general the piercings on Indian lady's are basically a form of beauty expression and social status/standing. Almost all women in my family have them, tough this trend is now slowing dying out.

I think woman from anywhere in this world are beautiful and wonderful creatures of this magnificent universe!

Man cannot liveth without women. A Woman could be pale or dark as whatever. It don't matter, What inside her matters. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess :)
