The Japanese are indeed the most innovative in this domain. The price will definitely be beyond the reach of many old families. I just wonder if the wearer would prefer such a machine instead of the human touch of a caregiver.

When will they have a baby-sized one? 4000 to 5000 yen is less than I spend on diapers, plus this sounds much better and cleaner... all without the non-biodegradable waste of diapers.

Actually this does sound like an actually useful and much needed product with a variety of uses. Hospitals and nursing homes would love something like this.
