Would be interesting to know how this "psychiatrist" selected these 1,000 working women. It seems that there is only a correlation shown and nothing that proves cause and effect. Really bad information.

Sarge: warm your eyes as in using warm mask for your eyes? ...I think. That's what I do sometimes. It relaxes my eyes...:)

aikisako: you are welcome. LAVA has many classes for yoga. I'm not a yoga addict, so I did mostly hula dances just to sweat out...:)

seesaw - a warm mask, eh? I find the hot towel that they give me at the hair salon works well on my eyes - I have to bounce the towel on my hands for a few seconds first, otherwise I'll burn my face!

Sarge: yup. there're such masks being sold at Matsumoto Kyoshi or Body Shop etc. All you need to do is just to warm it up in hot water for 10 minutes, then place a towel in between the mask and your eyes..as not to get burnt. Doctors usually advises warm mask, whereas the beauticians seems to think cold masks are better.

@sharky1
Basically this is another product-pushing-company survey, one which is engineered to find results that will help them either (a) sell something they have produced or (b) allow them to create a product that they can sell to this particular demographic.
No, this is not science.

This takes the prize for most asinine article I've ever seen.Women eat sweets? Who'd have thought it?
Next, you'll be trying to persuade me that bears don't use inside lavatories.

1000 is a very small survey field, similar to tabloids. At least people buying sweets provides jobs and keeps small businesses alive.

Wow, its like the authors of this study read my mind! Smearing my eye-makeup all over then spending my measly break reapplying it is one of my favorite workday anti-fatigue tips.
They somehow failed to mention my number one de-stress maneuver. Getting up and energized by preparing tea and coffee for all the male coworkers. It fully energizes and motivates the blood!

Relax, Coughalot. Have a kit-kat :-D

Tired at work? I assume this stems from the mental fatigue of doing almost nothing all day, and having to invent stuff to do so that no one knows you have nothing to do. That's all I ever see. Knackered looking women thinking about how to kill the next 5 hours until the boss leaves because they have nothing at all to do.

I agree that they get offended when their offer of sweets is turned down. It's like a major issue when it shouldn't be. Go figure.

OH NO can many overweight tired women be soon far behind then? And with a BIG behind, something which Japanese women lack most of the time. Hey this might be a good thing if you like junk in the trunk and like women with much back. I can just see Sir-Mix-Alot singing it now.
Don't be offend it's just that you're fat now and didn't see that coming unlike what's happening in Canada and the U.S. where current children maybe out lived by their parents because the children are so overweight they will die from their lardiness. There's something to look forward to.
