Why all the mystery? Advil with lots of water before bedtime. Then again in the morning, or an Alka Seltzer if the stomach feels whoozy.

If you eat something greasy or take a spoonful of Olive oil or any other you don't get drunk that easily and you can avoid the hangover.

Eat a decent meal prior to or during the drinking session and lots of water before hitting the pillow (last two or three drinks) helps to reduce the dehydrated feeling you usually get in the morning which also will reduce the chances of severe headaches in the morning.

Years of experience has proven this method is the most succesful in preventing severe hangovers. Other than that don't drink.

Mditate or do Tai Chi when you get up.

Pray to Baccus, and if all else fails, start drinking again.

"If you eat something greasy... you can avoid the hangover"

I read an article by a guy whose girlfriend swore eating raman prevented hangovers. I have my doubts though, I have seen too many splotches of vomited ramen on the streets and station platforms.

Sir, No one knows who discovered drinks and it has a devastating effect on hundreds of poor and downtrodden families. The time has come for prohibition all over the world. The drinking is as dangerous as smoking. Smoking kills the person who smokes, but drinking destroy the self and the family.

I always find a mega-dose of vitamin C before bed does the trick. And a good fry-up and a hand shandy first thing in the morning. Breakfast of champions!

From (long) past experience: Water before going to bed and lots of flat Coca-Cola the next morning. The cola has caffeine which helps, and of course, water. I don't know why its being flat seems to work better, but it does. But, as the article says, time is the only true healer, and the best course of action is not to get so drunk in the first place.

Need help stating the bleeding obvious?!

Most people with any experience know what they need to do to avoid a stonking hangover. For me, its a good meal beforehand, not mixing the drinks too much, and plenty of water before bed. But the thing is, sometimes the night is just so bloody fantastic and I have such a great time that Ill willingly take the hangover the next morning - it was worth it!

And a good fry-up and a **hand shandy **first thing in the morning. Breakfast of champions!

Oddly enough Mr Coughanoffalot, that doesnt seem to work for me!
