Notice all these things are business promoted, big money makers. These are conditions that can only be stopped by Govt. controls; people are too easily controlled by advertising.

I won't discount the problems you mention, almxx, but ultimately it's up to the individual. If someone is overweight, it's because of his genetics, diet and exercise habits. It's not because the government didn't save him from the big, bad advertisers.

I' haunted by seeing poor manual workers buying bottled drinks and snack pouches when healthcare dictates buying fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, fish and meat. Causes are ignorance, lack of time and kitchent amenities, no motivation... When I was a child in pioneer Singapore, manual laborers got to eat wholesome cheap food

simplifying your lifestyle would make most, if not all, of these problems go away. This is what happens when you pursue money as your main focus in life.

I would agree with you for people that arrive at the age of 20, in healthy condition and then let themselves go. But how is a child responsible of his/her diet and lifestyle habit ?

It is funny paradox, but processed foods are cheaper and easier to buy in developed countries than fresh foods...and in underdeveloped countries, it is the opposite.
