Roppongi Hills Halloween Parade (10:00 ~ 13:30, Saturday, October 31)

Every year, over 3,000 people join this popular Halloween Parade, one of Tokyo's largest. Participants will all dress up as famous movie characters to march in the parade. The one-kilometer route will start at Roppongi Hills Arena and move along Roppongi Keyaki-zaka. Participating children will receive snacks after the parade. If you wish to join, please register at Roppongi Hills Arena between 10:00 and 13:00 on the day of the parade.

Halloween Costume Corner

For children who want to participate in the parade on the day but do not have a costume, there will be a designated area at Roppongi Hills Arena where they can enjoy making their own Halloween costume. The area will be open from 10 a.m. onwards and will cost 500 yen for kids and 300 yen for babies (to cover materials). There will be a limit of 50 participants.

Various other activities are scheduled throughout Roppongi Hills for Halloween, including Halloween-themed workshops, a stamp rally, Halloween-designed food, and more.

Too bad these activities ARE NOT Halloween related at all! Workshops? Stamp Rallies? . . are u serious?

What about actual trick-or-treating, when the sun goes down? Carving jack-o-lanterns or going through a haunted house (or maze) ring anyone's bell?

How about a costume contest for the scariest, funniest, most original and prettiest? For the married couples without kids (there are lots of you), where are them wild Halloween Parties? btw- it falls on a Sat. night for crying out loud.

Why does Halloween have to be the same as America?

How convenient. Tailoring halloween in order to attribute a Film Festival. I got a better idea. . . . how about actually celebrating Halloween?
