    This has nothing to do with "unique" ideas and everything to do with people wanting to save money by eating at home instead of going to restaurants. There are probably fewer sales than ever going on in the supermarkets.

    after reading the "shukan post" here at japan today, i would be very leary of any UNIQUE ideas at the supermarkets here in japan. give a good old american super any day.
