Truck drivers are totally trucking selfish.

Trucks with inattentive drivers and bridges are not a good combination. There was a case a few years back where a truck rear-ended and pushed a car over the railing into the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, U.S.A. The NTSB laid the blame for the accident on the truck driver. http://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Pages/HAB1401.aspx

Good possibility the driver of the car decided to come to a dead stop in the middle of a road just to be an idiot. Common practice in Japan.
