Oh no! and why there're so many ferry-accidents in the Philippines? Can't they learn from the past mistakes and improve the service for the sake of innocent people's lives?

ferry accidents in the philippines are like traffic accidents in japan or anywhere else in the world. i agree that there's something that could have been done to avoid such tragedy to occur again, but they still happen... again and again! there are laws on maritime travel and safety in the philippines, but some ferry operators could somehow manage to get through them and operate without adhering to safety standards.

Why? because its a third world nation with a huge population and thousands of islands and thousands of substandard ferries. Shoganai.

yeah, it's true, alot of substandard ferries in the Phil, that's because of the government's lenient inspection among ferries and poor implementation of the law. The government of the Philippines must be the 1# responsible of this another sea tragedy.
