    Thats kind of strange. I guess they died by freezing out there.

    at 50 and 57 they are not really spring chickens anymore. No need to be doing these extreme sports without any guide or supervision.

    Sounds more like they got caught in a storm but you never know. Tragic in any case. Mountains in winter are unforgiving places to get caught out.
