I think the company was perfectly justified in booting him off, at least until such time as some company has established a "spaceship ambulance" service for medevacs from space stations. I don't think anyone's offering space travel insurance yet, either.

But did he get his $21 million back? I think he should be entitled to that because he never got the trip he paid for...

Not necessarily so. I'd suspect the brokering company's contract states, "non-refundable" in which case he hasn't got a legal leg to stand on.

When it's 21 million at stake, a no-refundable clause is not set in stone. He'll have the right to at least sue to get his money (or part of it) back.

I applied as an art and science teacher to fly. I got rejected for having gout. Understandable. The guy though shouold get his 21 million back. Why did he pay cash up front though? How did this guy become a millionaire? Weird

Enomoto says the kidney stones were a pretext to boot him off the mission because he refused demands from Space Adventures for more money...

And everyone knows you can't get blood from a stone.

First off, he shouldn't have even paid that much to go. Though he should get his money back or a good portion of it. It doesn't cost $21million to find out an individual can't fly to space because of kidney stones.

Sounds like Space Adventurers is in the wrong here.
