I wonder what that percantage is in other countries.Especially in Eastern Europe.

I wonder what percentage of that 69% were actually recycled. collected for recycling means nothing here, you'd be surprised.

Although 69% may have been recycled the big question is what happened to the 31% not recycled?

Well, I'm using a couple as CO2 factories (sugar, water and a bit of yeast provides CO2 bubbles for weeks, keeps water plants healthy and flourishing); another five or so as permanent watering devices in the garden and for potted plants; and I cut one up to use as a catcher when I had to take a doggy urine sample to the vet.
Other folk have rows of them filled with water on the edge of their property, supposedly to keep cats away, but from what I've seen they aren't very successful.
But reuse is better than recycle, no?
