What most of the media have not noted so far is that this is not the deadly strain of the virus (H5N1, I think). It is nothing more than a bothersome flu-bug that wipes out a large number of birds kept under the stressful crowded unhealthy conditions of enclosed mass-breeding farms. The culling is being done to protect agricultural profits. People see the news and think, gasp! it's here! The avian flu is on our doorstep! We need vaccines!
And even if it was, why don't they just add colloidal silver to their drinking water? There are 650 bugs that CS kills that antibiotics won't touch. Do the research yourselves. Why this isn't adopted by governments is to protect the profits of the pharmaceutical companies.
Really good idea. I mean, Colloidal silver would only result in health complications in humans with silver allergy, and we don't need those anyway :p. Skin turning blue hasn't killed anyone yet, and it is only permanent ^_^.

Patto - The fact that the virus is not the deadly strain, and is not a serious threat to people, has been on the news constantly here in Nagoya.

I think the plural form of quail IS quail, like the plural of deer is deer, not deers.
