Where was the university? Same site as today?
The article is a little confusing towards the end, but I finally figured out that the two who died instantly were not part of these three, but part of the nine students who were exposed.

It's better late than never. Let's hope it's not 67 years before the 'Fukushima 50' are similarly recognised.

Most of the "Fukushima 50" who are actually about 150 guys, don't want recognition because they fear discrimination much more?

One is usually "honored" for one's accomplishments. These guys are being "honored" for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Hiroshima is yet again taking victimization to a whole new level.
