Bowing and crying in front of cameras don't there. Wonder how they will pull that one...

Place 'work' where appropriate.

Got to laugh when Japanese talk about their food being safe. They seem to prone to having as many problems as any other country in the world.

Sadly. The will fail. There are no real laws against that

Actually in Australia, there are laws regarding food safety.

Check out "food safety laws" in google, and you'll find most articles on the first page refer to Australia.

So why did this product pass for 6 years? Was there no testing to confirm it fit within Aussie regulations at launch?

Is iodine just something that's not included on information nutritional labels? "1 serving contains 700% you daily recommended intake", would make me hesitate.

Was it tested with the original "salt" formula and passed and then reformulated to be "salt-free" without having to undergo any new testing?

I wonder if the same stuff is sold in Japan... (off to google...)

I wouldn't buy soy milk containing salt or kombu. I always check the labels. Tonyu = water + soy beans.

Apparently it's not soy milk but a junk drink that contains "Filtered water, organic whole soybeans, tapioca syrup, job's tears (hato mugi), sea salt, calcium carbonate.". Never seen that brand of crap here. The ad is incredible :
