It occurs to me that I hope that they are equipped with a lifeboat of some sort, in case they have to ditch over the ocean.

With that out of the way, seems like quite an adventure. I think people don't realize how dangerous this old school sky travelling really is. This is like the early days of aeronautics when the oceans seemed vast and treacherous compared to today when we can jet anywhere in a day in relative "comfort."
