A large butterfly migrated 1,600 kilometers from Japan to mainland China-

I find this hard to believe because butterflies don't live very long to begin with let alone be able to fly 1,600 km. I couldn't even walk that far in 4 months.

And don't forget how good the Chineese are at copying things..they have just copied the original.

Monarch butterflies in North America migrate from Canada to Mexico (as much as 4,800 Km) each year. This 1,600 Km. migration is entirely possible but it crosses a large body of water which means they can't land over that part of the journey. I wonder if we will see butterfly on the Chinese menu sometime soon?

Ha ha! Or, the Japanese menu...Ive been to several izakaya in Japan that serve inago (locust), others with grasshopper...and Ive heard some regions also eat ants. I reckon there would be a Japanese market for delicious butterfly?

What ? They did the scientific experiment on just ONE single butterfly? I need to see the repeat to have a conclusion.
