Bodies of elderly couple found in two-family house
TOKYO —
The bodies of an elderly couple were found Monday morning in a Bunkyo Ward home in Tokyo. Police said that the room the bodies were found in was in order, and that there were no external injuries on the bodies.
Officials are currently working to identify the pair, a male in his 90s and a female in her 70s, and determine cause of death. Both bodies were slightly decayed, dressed in lounge wear when they were found in separate rooms of the house, the man lying face up in his futon and the women lying on top of hers.
The bodies were found in a two-family home, and the 46-year-old resident of the other unit reported to police, “They didn’t go out much, so I didn’t really notice anything had happened.”

"Officials are currently working to identify the pair." These officials must be freakin' geniuses. Maybe the neighbor knows who they are. If not, just go ask at the local post office or city hall and ask!

surely the dues wallet is sitting next to his keys or something. or their mail is sitting somewhere, probably the mail box since they weren't really up and about doing chores.
