She was such a good person. What a loss her death is.

Her father was on the phone with delegates from Turkey this morning confirming that the body of his beloved daughter had crossed the border. She is now having performed an autopsy (to confirm how she died / officially) and afterward she will be transferred to the Japanese consulate for immediate retrieval to Japan.
I had a friend killed in Japan 7 years ago in Yoyogi park and that was a pain just to have his funeral. I could imagine all the red tape this reporters death went through just to get to Turkey. Now it's the journey home that's the most painful for the ones who knew her, loved her and shared living amongst her. My respects for the courage she had to go to the war front and gather information and insight. Very few have guys like that, very few who do rarely make it back in one piece. May she rest in peace.
