The Osaka prefectural board of education said Friday that an eavesdropping device had been found in its office, causing an instant media frenzy over who might have planted it.
Surely the OLs were recruited through standard procedure.
So far this is the only BUG that has been found. I wonder how many others are around that haven't been detected. Is any of the BUGS also attached to US bases?

Heck, I've been planting bugs in the offices where I work for years. Amazing, the things you hear when people don't know they're being listened to, ha ha ha just kidding, I'd like to do that though...

When I first saw the title of this article, I thought... dang, cockroaches are everywhere...
Is bugging somewhere an illegal offense in Japan? If so, will the offending official be arrested?

We have the same kind of wacko in our workplace. Maybe it's good for him/her to know what people say when absent... feed the paranoia.

Let's hope this offender is severely punished.
