Che Guevara's way of fighting for peace? No thanks. He should have told people to look at Havana, not Hiroshima. Hopefully Aleida will stop off in Nanking and Mukden for some more enlightening speeches.

Her father sure makes a great poster than 99% of the people don't fully understand.

Viva Che! Or something.

I admire Che Guevara for the courageous way he led the radical hipster movement in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

After ruthlessly killing so many, he himself died begging, and pleading for his own cowardly life. His daughter definitely owes a visit to Nanking and the killing fields of Cambodia. Then we can talk about Peace. Viva Ghandi!

You mean Che Guevara wasn't a Reggae singa?

I commend Mrs Guevara for coming to Japan and paying her respects and adding to something significant rather than the more insignificant venues many tourists and foreigners get caught up in during their stay! Peace!
Viva cultural awareness!!!

SEAN HANNITY, CO-HOST: We see this face often. HUMBERTO FONTOVA, "EXPOSING THE REAL CHE GUEVARA": Too often. HANNITY: Too often. For example, a lot of Hollywood stars praise this man. FONTOVA: Oh, yes. Oh, yes. They go even further. For instance, Angelina Jolie has emblazoned his face on a tattoo somewhere on her body, which is incredibly funny, because Ms. Jolie has just won the U.N.'s global humanitarian award for working with refugees. So what happens? She idolizes a man that created the biggest refugee crisis in the Western Hemisphere.

Stay on topic, oh wait if it's off on a J-bashing tangent, no mod on JT would bother mentioning this. :P However I have no doubt that the mods will tell me that this comment is off topic. LOL

just another attempt at revisonist history, something that is pretty well done here in Japan, and China for that matter.
I would like to know what his daughter thinks of what he did to the many people he killed, but I guess it will all get spun as the American's fault.
I hope she also makes a trip to Chengi in Singapore, the sight of the Japanese run prison camp so she can also look at a place to make sure that we have better peace, or also some of the caves and cliffs in Okinawa where thousands died under orders.

The woman paid her respects at Hiroshima. That her father was Che Guevara isn't important. She's a pediatrician. Hiroshima is significant to the entire world as the first time man used an atomic weapon against man, forcing us all to realize that the abilitity for complete self destruction of our own species was now in our hands. The message for peace is for everyone on this planet. People who comment on other war time atrocities carried out by the Japanese military during WWII (or anyone else for that matter) as if it somehow diminishes the significance of Hiroshima are clueless.
