Health experts say ingesting a small amount of melamine poses no danger, but in larger doses, the chemical—used to make plastics and fertilizer—can cause kidney stones and lead to kidney failure. Infants are particularly vulnerable.

And, what exactly do they consider a large dose? Enough to give an infant kidney stones?

The herd isnt thinning out anymore. Thats why China now adds toxic chemicals to all of its products! Only the strongest survive! Sad but true.

    Melamin in cheese powder.

Now, does that mean, if the cheese on the Pizza was harder than expected - you have already exceeded the safe dose?

Advanced countries like Japan, Australia, New Zealand...have the ability to deal with this latest crap from China; but I wonder China's less advanced neighbours like Vietnam, Burma, Lao..etc how they are going to cop? Chinese illegal traders will simply smuggle these toxic products to those countries and very hard to control them, either for Chinese Government or local Government.
