The wateras near Goto isles are not in dispute it never had been. Trying to tie this with the Senkaku isles is bad journalism.
I wish writers and reports divide the oranges and the apples as they come up with a story so it is clear to the readers.

The article doesn't tie the Goto Isles to the Senkaku Iles. What it DOES do is tie this incident to others that have caused contention between China and Japan. There's a difference. The tie is not the islands, but the contention.
