Too little too late. Furthermore, the "independent" judiciary here in Japan has quashed debate regarding this case on numerous occasions. As with other inconveniences regarding Japan's conduct during the war years, the "Yokohama Incident" is one that certain elements of the Japan Establishment would like to see buried.

Hope the families can get some justice, but it is too late for the ones who suffered. Hope the real story gets out to the masses, but like most things the "official" version issued by the government may be far from it.

What are they talking about.... They can do that now... Why do you think they have something like a 99% conviction rate...? It's certainly NOT do to their outstanding police work....

Were convicted of what? If they had been convicted of "violent interrogations" then these Journalists should have their conviction overturned along time ago.

During the war, many Japanese here in Japan had to be very careful of what they did or said, the wall had ears (goverment spies everywhere) and these people involed in the Yokohama incident may just be the tip of the ice berg.
