OMG. I can't believe that Her Royal Highness Princess Masako still hasn't recovered at all?. It's been like ages since she was last diagnosed with the problem. I have seen many PTSD cases, the strong ones recovered (though not 100%). If she in that non-strong category or simply a selfish category.....then, yes, she'll never ever recover...and YES, my tax money is not justified.

Precisely what I was going to suggest!
williamsmith at 05:15 PM JST - 20th January
She shouldn't be going anyway. How can anyone actually suggest that she go on this trip? Are you insane? Any logical person should realize that she should never leave the house.

willliamsmith: Are you suggesting that she is 'mentally ill' instead of PTSD or similar....if she is, she shouldn't even be staying in that Crown Prince/Princes residence...she should be in the Mental Health Hospital....

in the real world "undergoing treatment for a stress-induced illness" for a so long time, you'll get fired. Hint to the Imperial family. Fire her.

how many years has she been "suffering" now, 3,4,5...... I have lost count

Start the day with a little pho ga and cafe sua da (iced coffee with condensed milk brewed with a drip press filter over the cup) along with freshly baked bread and cheese. Then go out and join the bustle of humanity. Do wonders for anyone!

I for one am a Royalist, and I support Japan`s Imperial Family 100%. They have wackos, of course, like all families. Princess masako deserves our understanding and loyal support. She has had a very rough deal from the insane old men who are in the IHA. They are the real nutters, and they should leave the Royals alone.

The beaches in Vietnam and getting away from the royal family and the minders would be good for Masako. Maybe she should go and ask for political asylum.

maybe the Price should read this and then reconsider his trip:

Masako probably has the right idea to stay home.

Why are people so critical? She is ill.
tmarie at 09:23 AM JST - 21st January
"Why are people so critical? She is ill."
Because she's been "ill" for years. Other folks when "ill" still have to do their job. My tax money pays for this "intelligent" women to sit on her butt and then yet dine with Spanish royalty when she is not "ill". Been too many years...

How dare anyone out there make fun of Masako after all she has been through!
She lost her job, she went through a stressful time with her stress induced stress disorder! She had a kid!
Her husband turned out to be ah, ah well, a prince. All you people care about is… readers and making money off of her.
SHE’S A HUMAN! (ah! ooh! audible sobbing) What you don’t realize is that Masako is making you all this money and all you do is write a bunch of crap about her.
She hasn’t performed in the foreign service in years. All you people want is MORE! MORE-MORE, MORE: MORE!
LEAVE HER ALONE! You are lucky she even appeared occasionally for you B*STARDS!
Leave Britney, I mean Masako, alone Please! Leave Princess Masako alone!…right now! I mean it! (audible sound of sobbing)
