Even if he stays longer in Japan, China will not mind, because Dalai Lama has said 'he has given up on talks with China.'

China will not mind one bit about Dalai Lama because the world situation has been changing dramatically since Beijing Olympic.EU, America are struggling with their recession,no power or time left to think about Tibet.

He came to Mie about a year and a half ago. I saw him speak there. Glad to hear he is feeling well enough to travel to Japan again.

he is just another reminder of all that is still bad in China and what is still bad about China.

I've seen him speak on a number of occasions. I think he has a lot of vision, and a lot of warmth.

it was really lauagable when the western world using him as a bargaining card to argue with China. The western world was so naive that Chinese people will compromise or behaves a little bit to address their concern! Power is everything and power is the guiding force..an exile dalai lamma is good to let the world know this principle of Chinese politics! The western world cannot done anything over Tib after making some noise before the Olympics...they are useless and they mind their own fortunes in China only, thats why I am very confident Chinese politcal ideologies will dominate the human future! Dalai has been in exile for 50 years and it is good to remind the world how uncompromising how Chinese are.

'Power is everything...how uncompromising how Chinese are."...if this is Chinese government attitude( power, power ,more POWER), I guess the world should just dump all chinese products into the sea, no trade. You just don't feed the crazy dragon more and more for it to grow bigger ,more and more powerful till that dragon eats you in the end!

And that's why my girlfriend hates her own country.

Reddragon. It shows how "some" Chinese people love to be kept under foot by their leaders and forced silent. :) That is the mentality that the government has structured within those that are weak and only were born to be followers instead of individuals able to exercise their own thinking and the ability to express themselves as an intelectual. That in itself is a crime against humanity and the communist leaders are guilty of forbiding just the basic of human rights and the very crime against humanity. If some are satisfied with that, then let them have it and live it.. One good thing is that not all Chinese of China see their lives like that and thank god of that.
