    Good verdict for record sake that Japanese military did order for mass suicides, however this case is likely to go against Nobel Prize winner Oe in the higher court.

    The Truth will come out on this and a myriad of other actions of the Imperial Japanese Army during WWII.. However it will soon be found only in written chronicles as those who experienced these dastardly deeds will be gone. Japan will never admit their idiosyncrasies, but the written word will live longer that anyCourt.     There were many, but even one is too many It is recorded by former Governor Masahide Ota that 240,000 Ryukyuans died and the Ryukyuan Memorial Park has their names enscribed on Marble slabs in countless rows in the flat below Mabuni Ridge (Suicide Cliffs)
