I wonder if she knew about it before it happened. I would have quit too. I bet she wants to prove she can succeed without her father's influence.

I think she should have stayed on to prove her worth. What's this bowing out in light that your daddy did something? Prove yourself that you're doing as best you can like any other mediocre teacher out there. There are no Super Senseis in this country.

Wish some parents had the gall to sue the board of education down in Oita. I wonder if an argument of discrimination would work with regard to the prefecture failing to employ suitably qualified teachers and the education of the students suffering as a result. An argument regarding the children's constitutional rights vis-a-vis education could also be interesting. Namely, by employing people as teachers who did not meet the the board of education's own standards, the children's constitutional rights (regarding receiving an education of a similar standard to everyone else) were being violated.

I'm not sure if she knew about it before or not but obviously her reputation has been damaged. Anyway, this whole country runs on cronyism and family conncetions so why is anyone shocked over this latest scandal?
