Lucky it hit cars and not people. What a way to die just think being hit by parts of an airplane engine heading for India (now if it was an Air China plane I could understand).

Do they get compensating or compensation?

How can they determine it was this plane if the cars were empty in a parking lot? How could the metal leave the engine without leaving tell-tale marks?

fatloser, on the news they were looking at the jet engine blades, many of which were missing bits of metal. I'm sure they matched the metal to the blades. If not, they shouldn't be reporting that it came from the Air India plane. Pretty scary though, for both people on the ground and on the plane. Glad they caught the problem before the plane was on its way to India.
