Too small to believe, perhaps untouched (unchecked) by auditors and tax authorities.

So doctors in hospitals earn Y10mil too much! Y4.5 mil is more than enough for a family to get by on.
And the quacks in private clinics get all that money for basically saying the same thing over and over again all day long, in the same insulting imperious manner.

Wow! Wonder how much the doc was earning in the clinic this morning when my husband went to see him after having terrible stomach pains all night. He was able to diagnose him without even so much as touching him! Sent him off with stomach meds without so much as palpitating his abdomen. Hope to God it isn`t early appendicitis.

The doctor quite obviously deserves every penny he earns if he is so talented he can make a diagnosis without even examining the patient!

in the same insulting imperious manner.

sigh....my friend is a doctor. she works in a private clinic. she said that doctors have no imperious status or even above usual respect in Japan. "May as well be a shop assistant for all people care" she said.
