Amazing that there were no deaths. I hope people are taking care and indeed remain in the shelters until they think the worst of the aftershocks is over. Of course there's no way of knowing for sure, but still. Stay safe, people.

Ron, dont panic. With all Japans reactors shut down theyre pre scrammed. Theres no tidal wave to worry about flooding either.

I hope the ski season is not affected - it's so beautiful there! Incredibly low injuries and no death is as big news as the fact we are not prepared for this scale of earthquake in Kanto.

There was no need to mention reactors but SwissToni, FYI they are only idle and full of nuclear fuel which doesn't make them less dangerous! Something government is trying to be quiet about - only decommissioned plants are safe...
