Trade with India only accounted for 1% of Japan's trade in 2010, though it has been rising. So one has to question what bilateral ties are peaking? Those between the Japan's nuclear industry and an energy hungry India?

They just do solemnly what they have to do for Japan. They are not politician and business people either. They are rather friendship maker.

I recommend the emperor and the empress avoid the more spicy Indian curries and go for the butter chicken.

I worked for 10yrs with Indian, Pakistani, Bangladesh, etc. They liked Spicey foods but I ate hotter than their liking.

Either way good trip to them.

Interpretation

Japan Company is slowly moving investments out of China to India just in case.

It is a good move as the relationship between China and Japan is heading to the South.
