More accurately: "Emperor Akihito was released from hospital on Thursday into the custody of the Imperial Household Agency"

Wishing him well - pneumonia is very tiring. Wind will be well knocked out of his sails. As he is not so young, recovery is going to take time.

"Discharged", not "released". A person is discharged from hospital or released from prison. Please use the appropriate word.
