The work's tough, the hours are long, and the pay is peanuts.

The only way you can fix this is for the younger relatives to take care of the old folks...and we sure know that's not going to happen when the younger Japanese Man has to work such long hours.

Bad enough to come home after a 12 hour day to a screaming wife and kids but to also have your parents there too (no wonder the sucicide rate is so high in Japan).
