    holy !#%&. that story gave me chills. I just couldn't imagine going through something like that. I love the last part about the guy never wanting to step foot on a boat again. I hear that!!! I hope he lives on a big island like Honshu or Kyushu or he may be SOL on that one.

    Yes, a truly chilling story, and who would think the guys who escaped would perish. This stuff always reminds me of "The Perfect Storm." A dangerous, dangerous lifestyle. RIP to those lost.

    What ever happened to the captain going down with the ship? This is an amazing story with a bittersweet end. Condolences to the 5 who passed away and their families and friends. Great job by the rescuers, and I hope the survivors will have long lives.

    Holy Moly. You never get to hear what happens in these kinds of situations because the people trapped in them usually die. What an amazing story.
