    They could start by cutting down on the packaging here...and the department stores which heat their stores to t-shirt temperatures in winter.

    I read in this morning's paper that the Korean army plans to cut fuel costs by restricting soldiers to one shower a week...maybe JSDF could try that?

    If they want to get rid of 60% of the garbage in Japan, they could start by making it illegal to be a gangster, fire NHK as a government organisation, allow foreigners to join the police force and get some REAL police work done and last but not least, the government could step down and allow someone else to have the reins after over 60 years of bringing their country to financial ruin!
