Toyota Prius payback? Odd that the Iphone battery fire problem and this plane fires and battery problems seem to be mainly related to Japan and not the other 194 countries in the world, okay over half of those don't have modern stuff but still. Nothing happened about the iphone battery case and I suspect nothing will happen out of this review save some sticky tape measures to try and restore public confidence.

When it comes to batteries one cannot forget that it started with Sony. They were making itty bitty bombs that would catch fire in their products. Especially their laptops.
I don't think this is any kind of payback about the Toyota Prius. There is definitely a problem. However if you want to make comparisons...BOEING admits it. Toyota still to this day denies it. They'll pay but they'll never admit.
Just ground the fleet for a while. The 787's don't even represent 1% of what is flying over our heads everyday. The stock will take a beating but the plane will recover to full flight standards.
It'll take time.
Japanese are not worried about this cause the plane is made mostly by Japan.
Had this been an Osprey, we most certainly would have 300 or more posts.by lunch.

Carbon-composite fiber is great for surfboards, bicycles and Chevrolet Corvette's but I will not fly in one of these aircraft until thousands of 787's have been in service safely for a few years

amn right they should investigate. Should've been after 3 mishaps tbh. 1 time that can happen, 2 times rarely but ok, but 3 times in one week that should ring some bells, not to mention 6.

Going with Boeing...a few growing pains nothing major.
