    wow Japan is really doing well with the pandemic level at 6. I thought they would be over reacting, but they are doing what they asked of their citizens and staying calm. Good to hear!

    Good move, but I doubt anything but being hospitalized (or at least a hospital visit to prove it's the flu) will fly for companies giving staff the day off.

    I don't think people like Masuzoe overreacted ever, it is some of cheap media and some people who went into panic. People should just stay calm and wash their hands, please.

    This is good news, as I was already wondering who will feed my cat if I have to be in hospital for a week or 10 days...plus hospitalization costs.

    smithinjapan: They might ask you to take the train to the company to show the lab result certificate. Remember to cough towards the boss when showing the paper. :)
