A special grilled sanma (saury) event was held at Tokyo Tower on Tuesday to mark the autumnal equinox national holiday.
It was the sixth year in a row for the event to be held.
Sanma, or Pacific saury, a popular dish of the season in Japan, were grilled over charcoal fire as people waited in line at the base of Tokyo Tower.
A total of 3,333 grilled fish caught in the waters off Ofunato, Iwate Prefecture, were given away to lucky visitors to the tower free of charge.
About 15,0000 people attended the event throughout the day.

Wow
Did they all get a fifth of a fish each, or were 11-odd thousand people turned away?

That fish is delicious. Just watch out for all the bones.
