yep..my school just closed another class down.Nothing major yet but the infections keep ticking away.I really don't understand their methods though..the kids must be sent home for 4 days but their home room teacher comes to work as usual to possibly infect people that work with him.Half-arsed approach to these eyes.

****....and STAY HOME if you are sick!

My husband was outraged that his doctor (who is actually on his company payroll) contacted his HR dept and they then contacted us and told him to stay home for a week.

I was outraged that he was outraged! Common bloody sense to me, but he is Japanese and desperately wanted to "gaman" and "ganbarre".

I was even more outraged that the (male) doctor told him to go stay in a hotel or a week because I am pregnant! No way buddy! YOU come home and I will go stay in the hotel!

Well, that's what happens when you decide that the first-year student's classes can be closed, but since the third years have tests coming up, or are working hard on culture festivals, they simply CAN'T have the flu, and so the schools are kept open for those kids.

No easy way out of it... and perhaps better now than later.

When will H1N1 go away? Any good guess? Is it going to be a way of life? How long are we going to hold out?

Is it the disease of the new millennium? Who is profiting from it?
