"The drill, which the GSDF first opened to the public in 1966, has become a popular annual event in recent years, with demand for the most sought-after category of tickets outstripping supply by 84 times this year, the GSO said."
It seems as if a sizable part of the Japanese public is interested in the capabilities of the Japanese military.
Start doing the job for yourselves, Japan, and get the U.S. military out of the country.
thanks wanderlust hahaha.. invaders should also book their tickets early, so they get a good seat, and avoid early detection as well.
Why would anyone think to invade japan? and this was done just after the olympics hint hint...
if this was for disaster training that would make sense, but this is clearly a show of force... Note also the news clearly stating how much fuel is used in each exersize!! Why not tell invaders how many troops and ammunition too. Whoops...did that.
Without any natural resources, no oil, no gas etc, why would they be invaded? usually you invade to get something back. unless we're out of rice or mikan I guess..
If there's nothing made here and it's all imported anyway, why go through all the trouble of invading japan, and just go after the importer?

Note to Japan's enemies - invade during rain and fog, the SDF doesn't work so well then....

As good as 'Hanabi' for j-public but costing Y418M, increase in consumption seems inevitable.

correction pls: read as 'increase in consumption tax...'
