I disagree that this is the same as every year- we have had almost 10 solid days of rain, with torrential downpours happening almost every day. It doesn't notmally go on this long. And heavy rain at this kind of year is usually caused by typhoons, which we haven't really had any of yet- no, I think this year is quite unusual.
Now the JT forecasts shows 30 degrees great visibility, sunny weather in Tokyo, but ... it is different in the real situation. How do the JT people gather their data?

this is not usual weather for Japan, there have been thunderstorms in my area now almost daily for the last 3 weeks or so.
