    Moreso, had this been say, a Chinese aircraft, I doubt he would have been so kind.

    As you said, pieces falling off planes is NOT NORMAL.

    Problem with outsourcing. This is the problem brought by globalization. JAL has been trying to cut back its losses so they employed either inept, inexperienced, understaffed, overworked, and unhappy workers. Pieces falling from the sky, what's next? the whole plane?

    Maybe the real reason for cutting the 747 training is that they can't maintain them? : )
