    Thank goodness cooler heads prevailed and the two sides worked it out like rational adults. I was afraid next thing you'd see were protest marches and burning hino maru's.

    Seems like a new era in relatons with Japan and South Korea. And with China as well. The only one that hasn't changed (and probably won't) is North Korea.

    That and Russia. They get pissy about boats entering "their" waters.
