I'm a Chinese student.I resist Japanese product before(TV,Car...) because Japanese planes threw lots of bombs to our city in WW2. But This time i saw Japanese relief team members are self-sacrifice and professional. They came to help us tirelessly! I remember the way they show respect to the Chinese victims. http://news.qq.com/a/20080517/002546.htm Thank them for their help! Thanks for the Japanese friends who are helped and helping China!

60-member disaster relief team returning within less than 60 hours without apparent success (admitted by team leader), but good display of sophisticated equipments. Now let us hope medical team will do some real good job there.

As had been expected and feared, the time lapse was too great. No point in having a top notch rescue team working just to remove dead bodies, a task that's not as time critical. and China's teams and troops and handle. Comments from many Chinese posters indicating appreciation to the Japanese for sending their rescue team, and the Chinese govt broadcasting is widely seems to have put flowers on the tree planted by Hu Jing Tao for the young people of both countries to get along. Of course there are always a few holdouts.

I also hope Japanese medical team will do their best in Sichuan Province, save as many people as possible and be helpful. We have an experience how we should operate such a incredible disaster because we have experienced the Hanshin earthquake. I beleive Japanese medical team save many people.

Anyone knows that you need to get to the site within 72 hours to be hopeful of succesful rescue. How long did the Chinese govt wait before finally agreeing to let in foreign assistance personel?

Well there is a group of medical people (Doctors included) that took off from Canada last evening & without question more can be sent if said team feel they should. All they have to do is ask. So much will depend upon what equipment is avaliable when they arrive there.

That will take away the stress of the team from Japan arriving in China I hope.

I think in terms of manpower Chinese has plenty. So it's is the right thing for Japan to do to send professional assistance instead.
