Ah, we're starting to see the effects of Europe's refusal to provide enough troops to get the job done. Looks like Japan will start filling the gaps for them.
This may very well the one where some JSDF members will be coming home
in body bags. "Responsibility for regional security" is a phrase often
thrown around, and it's nice and easy if all you ever do is buy more hardware and run more drills. It's time time for the both the politicians
and the Japanese populace to really appreciate what that resoponsibility means.
