A shield for Japan A sword for America
Whether it attracts unwanted hostile attention for Japan as consequence of the exercise of its offensive capability, that is not in the defensive interest of Japan is a question that eludes the common idiot and press who would sooner compain about its remote risk of reactor breach.

I think both of your points are about the same in likelyness of happening., But it wouldnt make a good point if you said the chance that someone would be able to attack or sabatoge the GW is as likely as the reactor having a breach, both of which have a very small change of happening.
All in all its no different then having the other carriers here, just has a different power plant, by the way when the Russian sub Kioski sp? went down after it exploded the whole front of the sub off of its self, the reactors still didnt leak nor breach, so that kind of shows the ability of the reactors to take a hit and survive..
